- GTR observes the general international trading guidelines governed by the International Chamber of Commerce;
- In brief, other obligations and responsibilities met by GTR and it’s affiliates are:
- Drafting/ issuing/ reviewing of purchase and sales contracts including all related legal documents;
- Verification of all documents with Country Compliance and internal company guidelines;
- Identification of issues and contractual risk and respective advice to buyers;
- Monitoring payment terms, financial transactions and checking of L/Cs (if applicable ) for GTR’s customers; requesting amendments and negotiating documents for collection of payment in compliance with international standards.
- Documentary monitoring of the contract from the beginning to the end, including co–managing of contract changes and corrections and completion of export documents for shipping including shipping tracking systems.
- Vessel chartering of container shipments in co-operation with the chartering department; organising rail, truck and air transport or releasing of material in warehouse/stockpile;
- It should be noted that no two trade contracts are the same. GTR uses best endeavours to customise every transaction to the absolute specification of it’s customers.
