Peter David Voss – Managing Director

Peter Voss has developed deep experience in General Management and ownership of Australian and international businesses involved in manufacturing, technologies, sales & distribution, marketing, commodity trading, vineyards/ wineries, hospitality industry engaged in entertainment, gaming, food & beverage sectors. Mr. Voss has developed and established his private business interests in many of these sectors throughout Asia (primarily China, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore), Europe and North America.

Peter has held senior executive positions with major corporations in Australia such as Lucas Industries, Australian United Foods, Coca Cola Amatil ASX: CCA (formerly Amatil BritishTobacco) in the roles of General Management and Corporate Development involving mergers and acquisitions.

Peter has served on various Australian and International Corporation Boards and at times consulted to Australian and International Government Departments 

 

Robert Cummings -Director of Marketing

Robert Cummings is a qualified Electrician but started trading in Timber at the age of 24 years of age and began exporting Australian timber soon thereafter. Through his trading connections in Asia, Robert saw the opportunity to start importing furniture from Asia to Australia.

Robert is the founder and owner of Dixie Cummings Enterprises ( Fine Furniture Importers ) which has now become the largest wholesaler of indoor and outdoor furniture in Australia with vast warehouses in each of the major States in Australia supplying all the major local retailers.

Dixie Cummings has furniture manufacturing operations and affiliates in Vietnam, Thailand, China, and Malaysia producing a wide range of furniture products.

Robert is recognized throughout the industry for his furniture design, craftsmanship, quality, professionalism, and integrity.

Robert has a significant investment in Real Estate and other business ventures

 

Michael Bruce Timms   -  Forestry

Michael Timms is a qualified Civil Engineer with over 40 years experience I the Forest Products Industry. Mr Timms is a Director of Australia’s Acora Reneco Engineering which is a company supplying services to the forest products industry.  Mr Timms is the fourth generation family enterprise in the forest industry and during his tenure as Managing Director of the family business, the company attained number 1 position in the industry in Australia.

Mr Timms has, since 2011, been deeply involved in engineering and construction in Angola, Africa, where he is a Director / Shareholder of a startup sawmill project located in Funda, near Luanda in partnership with the Bongani Group.  When fully constructed, it will be the largest capacity sawmill in Africa. 

Mr Timms has been involved in extensive forestry projects in Australia, NZ , Canada and the USA and is GTR’s dedicated Operations Director in Angola.

Mr Timms over the last two years has been responsible to oversee the engineering and construction of Alaturca granite, marble and processing plant which is a world-class processing plant capable of producing the finest high-grade products.  His input to the project has ensured it was completed on time, within budget and turn keyed without failure.

 

Emanuel Miguel  - Managing Director Alaturca Stone.

Emanuel is the principal person and vision behind the establishment of Alaturca stone and without his perseverance and insistence on “Only the Best Will Do “ the commissioning of the production plant which is a world-class facility would not have been achieved.

Emanuel’s attention to detail, organization, budgeting and planning has demonstrated his leadership, skills and knowledge of the stone industry.

Emanuel has vast experience and knowledge in the selection of raw stone materials, processing and producing the highest grade products to meet international market standards and requirements in both product finish and price.

Emanuel is a commercially sound Managing Director with manufacturing, financing, budgeting, warehousing, sales & marketing and personal skills to complement the operations.
